Ranti leaves contain flavonoids that can reduce blood glucose levels. The aim of this research is to know effects provided by the extract ethanol ranti leaves in mice white induced males alloxan in lower rate glucose blood and ability repair histopathology pancreas. This study used 30 rats shared into 6 groups consisting of treatment from group I normal control, group II control negative with administration of CMC Na 0.5%, group III control positive with giving glibenclamide, group IV extract ranti leaves 200 mg/kgBW, group V extract ranti leaves 400 mg/kgBW, group VI extract ranti leaves 800 mg/kgBW. On the 3rd day, the rats were induced with alloxan. Inspection rate glucose blood carried out on day 0, day 3, day 7, and day 14 using the GOD-PAP method. On the 15th day, the rats dissected and the pancreas was removed for made preparation histopathology. The data was analyzed using the SPSS. This study indicate that ranti leaf extract exhibits activity in lowering blood glucose levels and improving the histopathology of the pancreas in rats. A dose of 400 mg/kgBW is the most effective, showing a reduction in blood glucose levels comparable to glibenclamide as a positive control.
